Privacy Policy

 

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which LuxStart S.A., based at 45, Boulevard Prince Henri L-1724 Luxembourg (“LuxStart”) collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from clients and/or users (each, a “User” or “Users”) of its website and any other services (the “Services“).

 

1.    Personal identification information

LuxStart may collect personal identification information from Users when Users visit LuxStart’s website and fill out a form. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, contact details such as company name, name and surname, email address and phone number.

 

2.    Non-personal identification information

LuxStart may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they use its website. Non-personal identification information may include technical information about Users means of connection, such as the operating system and the Internet service provider utilized, geographical information such as country of origin, behavioral information such as time spent on site, as well as further non-personal analytical data to improve customer experience and services.

LuxStart may use « cookies » to improve the User’s experience in regard of the Services. 4.    How LuxStart uses collected information

Principally, personal and non-personal identification information is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship or for six (6) month and used to provide the Users with the Services and to ensure a full efficiency of the Services they have registered for or they requested in any other manner.

In this framework, LuxStart may collect and use Users’ personal and non-personal identification information for the following purposes:

  • To improve Services: Information Users provide will help LuxStart to respond to certain Users’ requests.
  • To personalize User experience: LuxStart may use non-personal identification information to understand how Users as a group use LuxStart’ Services.
  • To improve LuxStart’ website and other internet presence.
  • To send emails: LuxStart may use the email address or mobile phone number provided by Users to respond to inquiries, questions, and/or other requests.

5.    How LuxStart protects personal identification information

LuxStart adopts appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of Users’ personal identification information within the limits of LuxStart’ role with respect to the relevant Services (as certain specific services might be rendered by third parties).

 

6.    Sharing personal information

LuxStart does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to third parties Users’ personal identification information.

7.    Changes to this Privacy Policy

LuxStart has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. LuxStart will therefore revise the “last update date” at the bottom of this page. LuxStart encourages Users to frequently check this page for any changes. Users acknowledge and agree that it is their responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

 

8.    Acceptance of these terms

By using the Services, Users confirm their acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If a User does not agree with this Privacy Policy, LuxStart recommends to such User that he shall not use the Services. The continued use of the Services following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will be deemed as an acceptance of those changes.

9.    Data subject rights

Each User benefits under data protection law from a right of access, modification, and opposition to the processing of its personal data, a right to erasure and a right to portability of its personal data by sending an email to info@luxstart.lu

 

10.   Compliance with Data protection Law

All personal identification information will be treated in compliance with the Data protection Law in force in Luxembourg, including the General Data Protection Regulation dated 27 April 2016 on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union.
